The pack includes:
Task 1 — Standard Performance TaskA Family Law client file and fictional legal library requiring an extended objective memorandum. Candidates must identify the genuinely disputed issues, synthesize the supplied authorities, analyse competing factual arguments and provide a reasoned prediction.
Task 2 — Legal Research Performance TaskA Trusts & Estates client file combining research-oriented multiple-choice questions, a short-answer component and a medium-length client email. Candidates must work through execution, revocation, mistaken revocation and omitted-child issues using only the supplied fictional law and authorities.
Both tasks operate as closed-universe exercises. Everything required to complete the task is provided in the file and library, allowing candidates to focus on the core skills the NextGen UBE is designed to assess.
